Christmas 2014 -- the season
Few holiday cards have been sent yet (plenty of excuses, time/work/flu/etc.) but I hope to continue to send greetings to friends and family as time and all those et ceteras allow. Meanwhile, I am sharing the public album of Facebook 2014 holiday photos to recap the Christmas season. Supposedly this Facebook link -- which I turned into a tinyurl -- is viewable easily by non-Facebook folks and will be here for those friends to have this blog link from previous cards. Happy Holidays, everybody!!!

Marillion - Gabriel's Message
Michael Dylan played Marillion's A Collection of Recycled Gifts CD as we drove back from Christmas visiting in Erie. This was one of the songs: haunting, made more so by the way Steve Hogarth sings it. Love it and want to learn the song myself. 26956 views today but it was more like 26917 when I first found it the other day and posted to FB. Christmas or not, you want to hear this song. And do follow Marillion on Facebook. They plan to tour the USA in 2016 but will do a Montreal weekend in 2015…..

Into the Midwest
I've arrived and am sitting in front of Michael Dylan and Gina's tree, far from the Big Apple. Relaxing. But with things to do. We're having a less stressful budget conscious Christmas. Or trying to. Spend time with people rather than spend money because of societal dictates. Certain gifts, yes. And house offerings as needed. And things we find -- like a Left Right Center game for Krista and Jon who drove me to Ohio yesterday -- and stuff for my kitties -- but my grandcats already have usurped a little of it. (Tito and Lola are family, too :) I like to be generous but I need to be sensible. I would rather buy things for people I love as I find them -- not at the demand of a calendar. And stuff for people who need stuff, certain stuff. Oh stuff it. Enuf (for now). Time for family and hugs. (Including peace hugs :)
